How StreamSeeker works
Everything you need to know — click a topic to expand it.
Connect your Twitch account — it only reads your basic account info and takes seconds. Once you're in, fill out your StreamSeeker profile:
- Stream type & genre — what kind of content do you make?
- Timezone, language & region — so people find someone they can actually stream with
- Stream vibe — Chill? Hype? Cyberpunk? Pick what fits
- Collab interests — co-streams, charity events, tournaments, and more
- Active goal — pushing for Affiliate? Show it off
A complete profile makes you much more discoverable — and shows other streamers you're serious about collabs.
You have two ways to find people:
- Search Twitch — find any live streamer by name, category, language, or viewer count. Results come straight from Twitch in real time.
- Your Directory — your personal shortlist of streamers you've hand-picked. Filter by genre, timezone, vibe, collab interests, and more.
Each result card shows a streamer's current status so you always know what you're looking at:
- ✓ On StreamSeeker — full profile available
- Not set up yet — StreamSeeker account exists but profile isn't filled in
- Not on StreamSeeker yet — found via Twitch, not yet in the community
Adding a streamer to your directory is the key action in StreamSeeker. Here's what changes:
Click "Add to your directory" on any streamer card to get started. You can always remove them later.
- ✓ On StreamSeeker Full profile. This streamer logged in and filled out everything — timezone, vibe, goals, collab interests. Once they're in your directory you'll see it all.
- Not set up yet Basic profile. They connected their Twitch account but haven't filled in any details yet. You can still add them and check back later.
- Not on StreamSeeker yet Twitch only. Found through a Twitch search. Adding them to your directory imports them into the app. Until then, you can visit their Twitch channel directly.
Know someone who should be here? Send them the link — the more streamers who join, the richer the matches get.
- Favorites — Star any streamer in your directory to save them to your Favorites tab. Perfect for the people you collab with regularly.
- One-click raids — If someone is live, hit Raid to send your community their way — no tab switching. You'll need to grant StreamSeeker raid permission once (standard Twitch permission, revokable any time).
- Pro tip — Sort your directory by goal type to find streamers actively pushing for Affiliate or Partner. Perfect timing for a meaningful raid!
